Saturdays in Saxapahaw

Pronounced "Saxpaha", with the stress on "Sax", this little funky town is home to the biggest slip 'n slide this side of the Mississippi, plus blue grass music, farm fresh produce stands, string and stick bubble blowing and, as we discovered this time around, a great climbing tree, and the yummiest granola that ever melted in your mouth for sale, $6/bag.  Mr. and Mrs. Tuttle even came away with a slick new cedar porch swing.

Bring a blanket and a packed picnic basket and join.  You never know what you'll come away with between the hours of 5 and 8pm on Saturday in Saxapahaw:
