Sno-Balls

I think we were in Frisco when we stumbled upon this Shaved Ice stand.  The couple that run it are from New Orleans!!  They have six kids so they were very accommodating to our messy four. They also know of our beloved Sal's Sno-Ball stand that was near our house in Metairie (suburb of the Big Easy).  She hadn't received her shipment of sweetened condensed milk (because ice pumped with sugar needs that much more sweetening) so I had to settle for a "plain" Margarita sno-ball. What a treat after a full day of beaching.

What a treat indeed! There's no place like Sal's...is there?

And that last post about Ocracoke....delightful. That was one of our favorite stops in the OBX.
