Pretty Pink Prize for You

Did I really miss the whole meat of this week?!  I've been working.  I'm working on a mix tape for you for Monday.  I'm working on buffing up these flabby legs.  I'm also working on life and man is she demanding sometimes.  Just saw Dr. Gooch off for the weekend.  It was sad.  Hopefully, he'll bring us back some blue crab and get some sleep while he's away.  Don't let him fool you, it's all business when he heads to the coast.  Also my Dad said I could give away one of his stars here at My Angle.  They are hanging up all OVER Cicada Cottage waiting for someone to give them a home in a sunny window somewhere.  So leave your comment to win until I choose a random name Monday.  Hooray for Saturday soon.  We're planning on attending the 37th Annual Centerfest here in Durham.  See you there?

How about this dazzler?

I, too, would love your legs. Mine in in the process of being transformed, hence I am hungry, irritable, sore, and would love a shiny, happy star to brighten my day.

I'm pretty sure your definition of flabby and my definition of flabby are not the same thing.

love the stars. Have the perfect sunny window to make them sparkle! And to add charm to this entry, my 2 year old says, "Spah-kly!" It's every bit as awesome as you might imagine.

I love the Knudsen stars! This one would be b=perfect amidst all of the boy blue happening at our house!

I'd love one of these of my own! I bought some from you years ago, but never kept one for myself.

I'm wearing my new glasses and I don't see any flab. ;) PLEASE pick me, dear Jordan. That beautiful little white star you made for sweet baby Ashley (well, when she was a baby) sadly did not make the move in tact. She was SO sad about it and glued it back together. It now has character, just as she does. Thank you again...

I'd love a star! My husband just started law school. I never see him anymore! I think a star would brighten up my day. My kids (3 and 1) would love looking at it too!

I have loved and admired the stars your father makes since I first read Nie's blog and saw them there. Thanks so much for giving me a glimpse into your world. My youngest is now 12 and I have a lot of joy watching you get such a kick out of mothering your little sweeties!

Lovely legs....what are you talking about? I have actually always wondered what your regimen was for staying so trim. Do you have any sort of eating plan that you would suggest? Also would love to see more pics of that lovely home of yours!!

I have tried Spinning about 6 times but no matter what the instructor or I do, we can't seem to get the bike to fit my 4'9.5" frame :) I've already received a CD from you a year or two ago, so don't pick me, but wanted to comment anyway. Happy spinning!

Jordan, I never comment anymore....sorry. I am forcing myself this time both to say hello and because I have always loved the stars your family makes and have wanted one for a long time! There is a lovely large window in my living room that could use such a bright star.

Mark is in his second year of a five year residency in orthopedic surgery. I admit three and a half more years of this seems intimidating. You survived, I will too! Your blog is one of my guilty pleasures.

Those are flabby legs, my flabby arse! And life is demanding sometimes? Always, always, always. She never lets up.

Sarah said...

Ainsley would love to have this hanging in her window, or better yet her wall. I have taken everything down, filled holes and repainted, I have a clean slate to work with.

I'm entering, too.
