If you can get past the sticky skin feeling

Saturdays in Saxapahaw (pronounced Sax-pa-ha), NC are pretty perfect.  We rounded up the local family members and took the kids for some serious slip-n-slide.  And ate ice cream.  And met a serendipitous friend.  And all around enjoyed a late summer serenade of bluegrass and bubbles.

Lucy behind the glassy sheen of a potential bubble.

Avery, Squito bite scratchin' in the slide line.

No head banging, but some head popping.

Hazel's one last slip on the slide before we called it a night.

I meant slide, although a slip'n slipe sounds awfully fun, too!
