These are ready to munch after 24 hours in the fridge and keep for 3 months! They are so refreshing.
For one large jar full:
A few cucumbers depending on size, seeded, and sliced or speared to fit in jar
1 Teaspoon whole mustard seed
1 Teaspoon whole peppercorns
1 Tablespoons fresh dill
1 Garlic clove split
1 Bay leaf
Place the above ingredients in jar.
3/4 cup water
6 1/2 Tablespoons Distilled White Vinegar
6 1/2 Tablespoons White Wine Vinegar
2/3 Cup brown sugar *
Whisk together the above ingredients then pour into jar. Shake, lid, and place in fridge. Yum.
*For one of the jars I halved the sugar (hence the lighter color), but they taste better with more (who knew?)
