Sisters

Sideways glancing
Quick-step dancing
Cocked-head accusations
Of ulterior motivations
She's no dummy
Through that downy tummy
I see her, tiny scared chick
Tipping beak and nervous tick
A panic plea, a neck crane cry
Don't take me from Elle, Ruby, and Fly
"Keep me with my sisters", she begs
"You can keep the eggs!"

The best chicken poem I have ever read. Do they like double in size every day?

Annie loves the music on your blog. We often open your blog just to listen to the music.
