As Good As Family

We'll be giving up some top quality friends--the long time kind and the kind that still find your humor dry at 3 o'clock in the morning--to the left coast come July.  We're not giving up on the friendship.  Heaven's no!  This sort is a keeper.

Miss Sara B. and her Mac brought their three (left to right: Rex Rudiger, Mya Lillie, Jack Forrest) down from Philadelphia for Easter Weekend at the Cottage.  One of the best reason for a blog lull.  Our seven together made it riotous and yet the result was quite relaxing.  I'll let the candids do the convincing.

Come again, please, for Easter 2011?

Heaven's no is right. This sort is a keeper...no matter how much of middle America divides us.

Oh...what a weekend. You Mangums know how to have a good time. I'll never forget rocking out to "Cold Hearted Snake" at 1:00 AM.
Oh, Paula.

Thanks for a most memorable Easter!
Miss you.

p.s. I've been dreaming about that Gulehupf bread.

I'm so jealous that you have great friends like that who will make the drive to come see you! There are few people like the Bateman's! It looksl like a wonderful weekend! What did you put on top of the PS Pizza?

Tasha, The pizza had mozzarella, ricotta, and prosciutto then topped with Mache greens tossed in lemon juice and EVOO and pepper after it came out of the oven. A pure slice of heaven I tell ya!
