Turn Off the Fountains

taken on a drive through Chapel Hill this afternoon

Is it cold where you are, too.  We hear rumors of minus 7 in Minneapolis and a frigid 9 degrees in Utah.  We've got thin blood here though and are trying to find the good in 34 degrees.  The cold somehow quiets the air even without snow's insulation.  That's good.

Thank you for leaving your resolutions with me.  They were good.

Wow! Some fountain! It reminds me of the farmer's here when they are still watering when it freezes.

Awesome picture! It was 10 degrees this morning in Evansville, IN. A "balmy" 21 degrees in the afternoon. I can't relate to the quiet aspect... I just miss the beaches of CA when it's like this :).

It has been miserable here in the DC area. Miserable!

But, I wanted to comment that when I was in law school (last year), they used to leave the fountain in front of the building on during the winter and this would regularly happen. Doesn't this damage the pipes or something?

It's beautiful, nonetheless.

It is beautiful, but I am glad for the Louisiana weather! Cold but not so cold!
