Misfits

At Gugelhupf Bakery in Durham during Rain Storm '09

Sometimes we take all four of the rascals places, like in public, and then we're like, what were we thinking, and we hurriedly herd them back into the car and one of us runs in to get the needed product and then we go home where we can hide safely out of the public eye.  It's crazy.

The public is blessed to have your children.

my 3 sisters & I were all together (it's a rare time!) and were out & about across town two weeks ago. We each only had 1-2 kids in tow, but oh the looks we got!

I feel you. I would also like to take this opportunity to say I HAVE IT WORSE because I have to go out in public in Berkeley (where there are many dogs but no children and I am the symbol of all that is wrong with middle america) and because I am sure my children could take yours down in a public humiliation competition. Will you please tell me I have it worse? Please? It would make me feel like I excelled at something.
ps. You moved into CHII ward right when we moved out. Then you moved out and now they have neither of us. sad story.

^I have to go out in the San Francisco area too (though my city I'm sure isn't as bad as Berkeley). Each time I venture out with all three of mine I get those looks, and often times people will actually ask, "Are they all yours?"

I have strong opinions about all those people out there that roll their eyes when they see a slew of children...we need more little rascals in this world! I love yours! I think it's great that you take them out everywhere and anywhere and explore this amazing world together with them. I would smile and love seeing your crew come in my bakery anyday!

Crazy! Yes. We know all about Crazy 'round here.

Remember that sandwich place we took all seven of ours to in Chapel Hill? What were we thinking?

Will our children ever behave perfectly in public.
I sorta hope not!
