Katy and Mr. Dill Meet Durham

My sister and her husband celebrated their ninth anniversary in the triangle under the guise of work-related meetings for his job. We were fortunate enough to crash that party (a little). We are still discovering our new neighborhood ourselves, and together Katy and I found a few gems just down the road.

This bead shop. Where the artist gathered materials for her work. Then we split a Pain au Chocolate at Guglhupf Bakery. Both just minutes from CC! We agreed, all a girl needs is a good bead shop and a bakery.

We found more baked goods at Raleigh's State Farmers Market--plus samples of "the best" tomatoes. I picked up fresh corn, watermelon, and peaches for a special dinner this week.

Grilled Ham and Brie with a side of rascals at Foster's Market--a Durham original! Yum.

I've had many good conversations over sweaty ice water glasses and candelight--this one was no exception--despite Katy's somber face. Pure delight, these Dills. Happy Ninth and many more. Come celebrate chez nous anytime!

I must have looked at all the pictures at least 20 times. When did you both get so grown up. And so incredibly beautiful. Holy cow.

Absolutely the BEST.
Great hosts, beautiful house, and so many laughs.

The Dills loved Durham, and Chapel Hill, and Morrisville, and Carey, and . . .

Thanks for welcoming us.
