You Were One

Coconut hair head sits
On smooth neck stalk
Without lichens or fissures.
Sand dune shoulders are
Lily pads floating above
A dress, breeze-bubbled.
One could slurp lobes,
Those ears like oysters
On the half shell, cupped
By delight, you hear everything
Through your pirate smile,
That cracks and spills
To us: sweet milk thrills
From your coconut head.
