We'll Be Here All Week

Marie. She owns the house. The land is in the family's trust. She's 80-years-old. An artist. A widow. A potter. Her ceramics line every sill. There are carefully arranged still lifes all around. Her husband was on obstetrician. There's a black and white photograph of them in the garden in younger years. She is dressed in a floor length formal standing next to him both holding glasses of wine. She says the cows come down the grassy hill across the creek at the Dairy Farm to graze the same time every day.

A writer would be a good replacement for the potter.

Mom, the picture with the wooden windows was taken in the studio.

Yes, dad.

She sounds like your kind of girl. I love that she has a painting in the shower.

The studio alone looks like a lovely place to.. create.

oh my gosh! We'll take it if you don't. Wishful thinking, do they have a military base there? Maybe Kevin could transfer....Hugs, Tina (Brendon's mom, Ann's mom in law, one of Mary Deane's gmas.)

Lucky me, I got to see it in person, and yes, it's a keeper.
