"My Father's Gonna Kill Me!"

I often find shots on my camera that Lucy has taken. They are usually of the computer screen, her toys, or the floor. This one is of Ariel on the printer. Those early Disney movies have questionable dialogue. One day Lucy quoted the title of this post and my jaw dropped. By the way, where is Ariel's mother during her whole life-changing transformation? Questionable, I tell you, questionable. Just think about the politically INcorrectness of Peter Pan. It's stunning.

Another one is Dumbo. Actually the whole movie is a little questionable...

Yes! I totally agree! Some of our older movies are hilariously slanted. It's amazing how times have changed, for the better and the worse.

Here's a kicker for old times sake: Can you believe my mother dressed me up as a little black girl for Halloween when I was 3????? SO BAD! I mean she put me in black tights with white socks, painted my face, and took pictures as if I was the cutest little thing. (TRUST ME, WE ALL DIE WHEN WE REMINISCE THIS TRAGIC MOMENT). Her only excuse was my hair. It was so curly, she didn't know what to do. Uhhhh, Annie would've been good!

Good thing we've all grown up now!

Just this morning Azure was watching an old Donald Duck movie where he was on stage and the audience kept laughing at his blunders, so he leaves and comes back with a machine gun to shoot at the audience!!!

We won't be watching that one anymore!

Love the Ariel photo.
What happened to the Krispy Kreme challenge? Marcia and Christian did it and had a blast. There were 5,000 participants and she said she looked for a couple pushing four kids.
Next year, down with girl scout camp and you and me baby - one dozen Krispy Kremes!

It's funny Megan take pictures of the same things.

I have notice mothers don't exist in Disney movies.

Political INcorrectness isn't so bad...my boys LOVE Peter Pan! We also buy our boys toy machine guns.

Where ARE the mothers in Disney movies??

How fun to discover photos that she has taken -- like a surprise scavenger hunt.
