Back to Blogging

She was the belle of the ball. "Dad, will you open the door for me and hold my hand like a princess." Dr. Gooch, of course, satisfied her every whim at the Daddy Daughter Dance. We all had a lovely Love weekend. We even stole away for a spell and ate Chinese without the children. I was gifted loads of flowers from the girls and their dad and we found some more potential homes to keep the love flowing.
Tomorrow...a new farmhouse to drool over. This one has a fenced pasture, a barn, a swimming pool, and she's Victorian--turquoise Victorian. Are you ready for my next domicile fling?

House Love Can Be Painful. Good wishes in your search-es.
Lucy looks like a Jordan I knew 26 years ago.

Yes, I'm ready for your next fling.

I'm glad you guys had a chance to still away and get chinese.

How cute is she? I can't wait for my three to have many daddy daughter dances. I just wonder if my Adam is prepared.

Lurker here. I don't know if I can go through another FF (farmhouse fling). I'll go along for the ride only if you promise to stay away from forclosures (perhaps they are the real-estate version of a married man?) and stay with those out on the market and looking to hook up! :-)

A true southern belle...very darling indeed.

I love the above analogy...house hunting and dating, very clever indeed. Both can certainly lead to major letdowns or life long love affairs.

I selfishly hope to see many more house flings here. Your first fired my imagination. Please post lots of pictures of #2.

A Girl and her Dad, a wonderful match! I know Dr. Gooch loved every moment of the time spent.
Glad for your short Chinese get-away, we had one of those too! As for the farm house, bring it on and good luck!

Yet I'm afraid we shall...wait, that is. My computer's come down with a virus.

I'm ready, Jordan! Start posting those farmhouse pictures, because you know I'm drooling over them, too. Oh, North Carolina! I love you!

And of course Lucy was the Belle of the Ball! Just look at her! Beautiful, beautiful girl.
