A Stitch In Time

Fsth, fsth, fsth, fsth...the sound of the needles scraping against eachother with each knot...it is comforting somehow. Don't look to closely, I'm a real beginner. But, I'm over the moon at the possiblilities that lie ahead. I'm inspired by these gals. Christmas presents anyone? Next Christmas, that is. I'm slow.

Love it! It matches one of the stripes in the blanket I made for Avery. And Sabine's hat. The sound is soothing, no?

That's funny I've been knitting away all week working on gifts as well. I love that you can do it almost anywhere.

That looks like so much fun! I have to say I've never tried, but am turned on by creating a project while sitting on your rump!!

I am still quilting quite a bit, and one of my favorite parts is sitting down and binding the edges! Maybe knitting will have to be attempted one day. Keep those pics coming, so I can be inspired.

So Tasha taught me a couple of years ago, but I let it fall by the wayside and now I don't remember.

What are you using as a guide?

Lovely! My grandmother taught me to knit when I was a girl, but I can't remember... That skein of yours is very inviting.
