Just a Regular Monday

Keeping cozy and...

signing our lives away!!!! We met with the notary, Mr. and Mrs. Seller, our lovely Realtor, and, well us. We signed and initialed and pledged that we are who we are and now we'll cross our fingers. It'll be a steal if our offer is accepted and it'll be okay if it's not. We won't know either way until the end of February (at the earliest). I'll be 31 then, Lucy will be pushing 4, it will be 2009, we'll have taxes and interior paint on the brain, and only four months left on our rental to worry about.

two scary words: mortgage payment.

one word that seems to make up for it: equity.

a place of our own to rest six heads?--priceless.

Why won't you know till February??

The home is a "short sale" or "pre foreclosure" so it is the bank that accepts the offer (or not) and for some reason these makes it a lengthy process. We're okay with that though. It will gives us time to save up a stash and finish out our lease on the rental.
