Brrrrrr...

We've put the summer dresses away in a box. "It is brrrr", as my girls would say. It even merited a warning call from Dr. Gooch (on his way to work this morning) telling us to dress warmly. We heeded the call and bundled up for our trek to the bus stop. Lucy was tearfully left behind. She refused to change out of her rather skimpy princess garb. We're enjoying it (not Lucy's tears--this wintry weather). And still crossing our fingers and toes--no matter how numb--that we'll be warming ourselves by *that hearth* in *that home* next winter (or maybe this?) You'll be the first to know.

I love Hazel's expression. I love getting out the winter garb.

Hey! We have that summer dress!

i've already gotten out our WARM jammies and we're not as cold as you guys. Divine is sad she doesn't have any jammies with feet in them...I haven't found a size 7 for her.

Can't wait to hear about the house!

Ahhhh....Brrrrr...Winter! So refreshing for us Floridians (and it sounds like you too post-AZ!) It's been in the 40s here and we're lovin' it!

Still in the 60's and 70's here. Waiting for the "brr." Crossing my fingers that you'll be warming yourselves in "that" hearth ....

Thanks for the pretzel recipe. I think that sounds just about perfect post trick-or-treating.

Happy Halloween, Mangums!

Such cute little girls. I just went through and looked again at *that hearth*. What a beautiful home? I thought those kind of places were reserved for movie sets.

I'm curious as to what qualifies as brrrr weather there. We hit 70 today, the second warmest Halloween on record here!
