Preschool Graduation

Seth was especially excited that baby Avery got to "come out of the car" into preschool with us. When interviewed by his teacher, Seth answered that he would like to "build houses for other people" when he grows up. We were a bit concerned for Lucy's fate when she answered "I want to push around a cart with lots of stuff in it." We would be thrilled with an architect or engineer, but a homeless person doesn't settle so well with the parents. We'll hope for the best.
We've decided to make all our "big changes" at the same time:
a move across country
a new job
a new baby
a new house
a new city
and now...
BIG kid school
Seth will start Kindergarten this Fall out in North Carolina. He is thrilled though--mostly because there is a playground at big kid school. So, for a while, it will just be the girls at home.

Those are a lot of changes, but so exciting.

My thought on Lucy's desire to push around a cart with lots of stuff wasn't a homeless person, but a happy mom at Target!

Maybe Lucy will be a woman construction worker assisting Seth.

It sounds to me like Lucy wants to be one of those "professional shoppers".
Have you found a home or are you planning on renting for a while? Would love to hear all about it when you get the time.

Brian and I laughed our heads off over Lucys ambitions. She is hilarious!

I love that Lucy wants to be a hobo...

I am STILL laughing about Lucy's desire to push a cart around and I had to share that story with all my friends at work.

Isn't it funny how that works out? We went through all of those very same changes at the same time (except for big kid school), three years ago when we left NOLA for Vegas. It makes for a stressful time. Best of luck to you with all of your changes!
