New Camera

A good friend here blessed their baby girl yesterday. I made this little bracelet for her upon request. I love how subtly the purple pearls jut out a bit.

Seth is here grinding wheat this morning. We made these. They were tasty. While I mixed, sprinkled and baked, the girls did this:

Things appear pretty normal around here, but our heads are swimming in loan approvals, contract negotiations, taxes, moving, house hunting, new baby awaiting, graduation, and...well, what aren't we stewing over!

I love the bracelet! Have you ever considered selling them? You know, with all of the free time you have on your hands? :) :) :)

I love the picture of Hazel (isn't she the youngest?) wearing stickers on her head. She's cute, as are all your kids. I love the farmhouse. We lived in 20 acres in WA state before moving to the tiny lot in Cleveland and Finn loved, I repeat LOVED, roaming around outside. I would go with this one, plus the bannister is beautiful! Alot of potential... P.S. Those muffins look delicious!

Jordan, I want to start making our wheat bread rather than buying it. When you grind that, do you use that ground wheat as the wheat flour? I need detailed instructions! This is new teritory for me. The whole grain whole wheat bread here (we don't have a TJ's or anything, but I do shop at Lee's Market, it is an Associated Foods Grocery Store, brought to us by a local family market) is 4.00 a 2 lb loaf, and the "healthiest" stuff there still has HFCS as the 3rd or 4th ingredient. So, any recipes? tips? I think I'd want to be able to put in by bread machine or I'd negate in time any financial savings I would net.

So glad to see jewlery you are making! Love to see your creativity translated into actual objects!

Love the bracelet! The little one will be so chic sporting such an item.

I love the country home, Jordan. The banister alone makes that home worth buying! And all that land! Makes me drool. Really. And that's quite unattractive. But there is almost no real land to be had in Utah so that thought of all the roaming space and those outbuildings is so appealing. I think you will know in your gut if this house is "it"or not, and if it isn't, there will be something even more charming for you and yours! Hooray for NC homes! Some of the most beautiful homes I have ever seen are located in your new home state.
