Desert Green

Since we've been in Arizona, this is the greenest I've ever seen our mountain. I call it ours because it is footsteps away from our house. The wildflowers were having their way with the hillside. The cacti, who usually take center stage, have been nearly overtaken by the lush growth around them. So we took a hike with a cool breeze and our three: the perfect combo. Craig commented on how "this is how it should be"--life, I guess. It should.

jordan, i'm not sure how you found me, but I'm glad you stopped by today! your writing and photos are beautiful, as is your darling growing family. i don't know which mtn. you're sitting on, but I'm so grateful that south mountain is green right now... it spends too much of its time being brown.

Yes, exactly how life shold be. Looks lovely, especially with you and yours doing the climbing. The daffodils are breaking through here, and there's energy in the air. Soon the Dogwoods will be blooming and Jordan, I'm giddy just thinking about it!

Happy Springtime!
