Sunday Soak

Even here, summer feels very far away. The chalk was left out to drown with E.T. and the pool seems a vat of loneliness with only raindrops for company. All this chill and drizzle is somehow comforting. So I baked up some Cardamom-lime Sweet Rolls with extra glaze for finger dipping. We'll have them for dinner. Maybe with some scrambled eggs.

THanks for writing about your mom on her birthday. I forwarded it to my mom and she said she read it crying. Thanks for sharing. I have been wanting to try those rolls. I'm sure they were delicious...

Leave E.T. out there to drown! I hate him...

Dad, It is from Cooking Light, click on "Cardomom-Lime Sweet Rolls" for a link to the recipe. I ate about 6 in a row, they are really yummy.

The rolls sound wonderful. May I join you? Sans children, so we can chat a bit. Great! Be right over.

I miss you, and hope you had the best birthday and a very happy, healthy 2008. A year of change and adventure for sure.

Thanks for the link to the 'Cardomom-lime rolls'. I could really use something to brighten the never-ending snow days here. By the way, I'm enjoying the gravey separator you sent. Mark and I still laugh over us both sending one to each other. Janna
