Still Grinning: About Soup and A Return

We made it to today. Tonight will be enough and Craig will be home in my bed again. We grinned and bore it (okay, Seth wasn't always "grinning", but we managed "not to badly"). I learned one thing that I already knew: everything is always better with Dad. We're having soup at the Sanderson's at 3:00 where we three mothers will sit (their husbands are accompanying mine in Vegas) and bask in each other's adult-ness while her 5 kids and her 2 will keep my three occupado. Hooray for dinner at other people's houses! And for husband's coming home!

You get to come home to no dinner dishes and a husband tonight. You deserve it!

I think that is the BEST way to survive when hubbys are gone. Eat with other friends who are going through the same thing. Glad he is going to be home tonight. Celebrate for sure!

That is one beautiful family, Dad or no! So glad you got to have some adult conversation. No dishes and Craig coming home, too? That's a good celebration!

Whoa! That's a total of 10 kids! Glad you could slip in a little adult-ness in.

My kids have the song, "I'm so glad when Daddy Comes Home" down to an art form because...we really, really are glad when he walks through that door.
