Hooray for Teeth and Knees!

The first peeking through, the second learning their use...for crawling!! Yesterday 7 months and already trying to flee the nest! I feel like an awkward mother who has never mourned the too-quick "bigging" of the littles. I applaud and sigh relief and relish their movement forward, toward--something--more maneagable.

Oh, wow! She catches on quickly, just like her parents!

I can't believe she's crawling already, man that went fast! I always loved it when my kids would make progress like that because they were always happier with each new ability and that made life easier for me too. How exciting for you all.

What is Seth teaching Hazel?

Just around the corner they'll be losing those teeth they worked so hard to get. And the movement, just wait, you think it's hard to keep up with them now, soon you won't be able to catch them! More manageable yes, at least briefly.

I always loved when they turned mobile. More independence for both of us. I love that photo of H, looking at her brother.

Way to go Hazel!

Hazel's expression is so funny in that picture watching Seth. Teeth and crawling will probably relieve much frustration for little Hazel, which is going to be great for both of you! She is so adorable!

I agree I welcome the independence, soon the hips will no longer serve as a seat.

It is fun to see their life changes, however, I was never a fan of the crawling and wish they went from sitting to walking. Yes, they would be quicker but much cleaner. Congrats on the new adventurer.

love the nose picker.

Gorgeous! And movement... toward many things! They are lucky to have a mom that will encourage instead of hold back!
I have the feeling that Hazel is the type of baby that one just MUST nuzzle a bit. TOO cute!
