There's no place like home

It has been a long, full two weeks, but we are finally home. We flew to Leesville and flew home then drove to Provo and drove home. Our pool is green, the laundry pile is tall, the mail stacked up (as did the bills), the fridge is empty, the lawn is long, one tree is dying, and our landlord came unlocking our front door at 6:30 am this morning--BUT--it was so worth it!! Mostly for the precious time we got to spend with eachother and our families not to mention world cup soccer with the Mangum boys, lovely moist weather with a breeze at the Mangum homestead, witnessing a wedding, and Fourth of July Fun in Utah. On the drive, we discovered the above rest stop in Kanab, complete with water fountain and rolling grass hills for the kids. They loved it and we loved the break. So glad to be home, so glad we went.

Glad you guys are home safe. We had a blast with you. I understand the laundry pile up!

I was wondering if you fell off the earth. I hadn't realized you went on a vacation. Glad to see you had fun. That really makes Kanab look rather nice. (we used to drive through there everytime from Utah to AZ)and I don't remember it being much. I do remember a place we used to get icecream though. Good luck unpacking, doing yard and getting back to life! AAAH

Welcome home, Jordan! We also used to stop in Kanab on our many family trips to Mesa. That town will always mean "we are getting closer" to me, since it was always our last stop in Utah before we crossed over into Arizona.

Good luck with all the projects you get to do now that you're home! Let your fun vacation memories sustain you during this time of drudgery! I am horrible at unpacking! Here's hoping you are much, much better than I!
